I had a parts machine to rob one off of.You are logged in as a guest. Mine did that years ago, you can replace the pto drive coupling, but it's not cheap.

There is also a 4 to 1 speed increasing gearbox in front of the pump that could be bad. Mine had a lot coming out of the drain hose on the motor and I took it it to a hydraulic shop and all it needed was a thrust bearing. If not then repeat the procedure with the small drain hose on the motor to see if it is ok. If the problem isn't the coupler, I think you can tell if it is the pump or the motor by taking the small drain hose off the pump and putting it in a bucket and running the machine and if it is draining a lot of oil its your problem. Double check oil level, neighbor had similar problems and finally figured out what he thought was full was not. To bad you are so far away, Got one sittin in the weeds with both pump and rear motor in good shape. Can't hardly tell if it was 540 or 1000, its all chewed up inside.

I brought to the shop no load turn it on -stop by itself. Posted 19:20 (#4699067 - in reply to #4699024) Subject: RE: hesston 1014 hydr swing windrowerĮverything stops. Does everything stop or just auger and reel? If just auger and reel, slip clutch on left of auger. Probably relief valve on back of tongue stuck open.
